Certified!!!!

Well, our interview last month went GREAT! The woman who came to our home was an emergency certifier. They wanted to get us all done soon, so they sent her. We sat and visited, she went over our questionaires, and asked us specific things off of them. She said she wanted to get us a placement right away, but we opted to wait a month. We decided this for several reasons. For one, they used to give you vouchers to buy carseats, beds, ect..., but since State funding has been cut, they don't do that anymore, and we needed time to get our taxes back to but these things. Also, my parents have a crib that also converts into a toddler bed that they bought for our Daughter when we visited. They are moving back to Cottage Grove from Washington this month and are bringing it with them. One last thing to buy! I have a couple wonderful friends who are selling cheap, or giving away carseats and stroller combos, since we will need both. Not knowing what ages we will be getting, we have to have the stroller combo for infants, but front facing carseats for older kids. We are doing newborn, up to 4 years old. So, now we are just in the waiting game until we have everything at the end of the month. We are so excited!
